As a Scotsman, I’ve built my career on courage, optimism, and integrity – choosing what’s right, not what’s easy. For over 30 years, I’ve operated at the sharp end of branding and destination strategy, shaping some of the world’s most iconic places.
After early roles at Design International, Conran Design Group, and Landor Associates, I founded BRASH in 2007. Today, as CEO of Brash, I advise governments, sovereign wealth funds, investors, and developers on creating world-class destination brands that ignite desire, unlock long-term value, and endure.
My work lives at the highest strategic level -from helping shape the vision of Burj Khalifa with Mohamed Alabbar to advising the Prime Minister of Albania on national destination strategy. This is not branding as surface – it is branding as intent, built on trust.

Beyond BRASH, I am a founder, investor, and advisor across creative technology, immersive experiences, real estate, hospitality, and advanced analytics. These ventures include Hooper, XRange, BlackBrick Property, La Fabbricca Italiana, Spinnaker Algo Systems, and Victim of Gold. I also serve as Guest Professor for the Master’s Cohort of 2025 at IULM University, helping shape the next generation of destination and hospitality leaders.
